This year has been a productive year for me and my horses. They’ve all progressed so much it’s almost as if the series name, “Triple Trouble” doesn’t describe them anymore. Here’s a glance at how 2021 went for us.
Our very own Ponydad, Thomas Pelle Veng, is still being schooled on a daily basis. Today he discusses the Ponydad School courses as well as his progress.
“At 42, there is finally no more embracing ‘the suck,’” explained Navy Veteran, Ryan Hinkle. “I no longer wake up on Monday and say, ‘shit, I have to go to work’… now I wake up and say, ‘cool! I have to go see my horse.’” (more…)
“I’m learning to move sideways. I had never thought of it as an option before—to step aside because one path isn’t working rather than trying to trudge ahead at all costs.” (more…)
“I cannot definitively say that if I had done X or Y differently, we would have had a different result. There is no way to know. What I do know is that if something didn’t work, you have to change it the next time.” (more…)

Brianna and Delaware head to West Virginia for the culmination of their time together at the Appalachian Trainer Face Off. Find out how their last weeks together have gone and how to watch the event. (more…)
The Appalachian Trainer Face Off is a little over a week away. How are Brianna and Delaware getting ready? That’s right — another horse show and another skill set. (more…)
“Chance really exhibited how even though someone or something can have a rough beginning to life, with the right resources, they can become successful and lead a fulfilling life.”
