It’s nice to get a trained eye to critique you. It has allowed me to reflect and work on my and Buns’s weaknesses while we’ve been trail riding. I thought Buns was back normal but I learned we still have a lot of work to do.

If you like to live life on the edge — of a cliff — this is the spot for you! I, however, prefer to have my horses home by dinner. I mean, nobody likes a crabby mare and I’m totally referring to myself, not my horse.
“I have to do what’s best for the both of us and right now, that’s take a break and just focus on us being us.” I know our comeback will be stronger than our setbacks.
Much of being a horsewoman is hard work, dedication and learning from your mistakes. I have a remarkable mare who has allowed me to grow and go on to be successful with other horses. She deserves more recognition than I give her.
