The Idea of Order: Summer is Dying…

Or maybe even dead already, depending on where you live.

Didn’t winter just DIE?!

As much as I have to admit that I could *survive* without it being over 100 degrees outside, I am NEVER too thrilled about fall shenanigans or the doom that comes after it. At least all my horses are enjoying spooking at their own shadows for funsies. 😉 #ISpookAtWinter On a positive note though, as I have escaped back to the Florida Swamp, my interaction with winter will be quite limited these days. #FloridaForTheWin!

Morgane Schmidt is a 38-year-old teacher/artist/dressage trainer/show announcer/ who still hasn’t quite decided what she wants to be when she grows up. A native Floridian, she spent a decade in Reno, NV, where she was able to confirm her suspicion that snow is utterly worthless (she has since regained her sense and moved back to the Florida swamp). Though she has run the gamut of equestrian disciplines, her favorite is dressage. She was recently able to complete her USDF bronze and silver medals and is currently working on her gold. Generally speaking her life is largely ruled by Woody, a 14.2 hand beastly quarter horse, Willie, a now beastly 10-year-old Dutch gelding, and Milona DG, a 4 year old KWPN chestnut mare (you can make your own inferences there…).
