The Idea of Order: Work Life Balance?

This could be problematic…

Or at least explain why so many of horse women are single. They say that the secret to a happy life is all things in moderation…I say whoever said that never had horses or something else that they were insanely passionate about. Of course that being said, I’d like to pretend that I’ve figured out how to balance all these fabulous things in life but I’m afraid that would be a lie.

Morgane Schmidt is a 36-year-old teacher/artist/dressage trainer/show announcer/ who still hasn’t quite decided what she wants to be when she grows up. A native Floridian, she now lives in Reno, NV, where she’s been able to confirm her suspicion that snow is utterly worthless. Though she has run the gamut of equestrian disciplines, her favorite is dressage. She was recently able to complete her USDF bronze and silver medals and is currently working on her gold. Generally speaking her life is largely ruled by Woody, a 14.2 hand beastly quarter horse, Willie, a now beastly 10-year-old Dutch gelding, and Milona DG, a 3 year old KWPN chestnut mare (you can make your own inferences there…).
