Jumper Nation teamed up with Kentucky Performance Products to bring you these awesome costumes from the Great Charity Challenge at the Winter Equestrian Festival.

Last week’s Great Charity Challenge at the Winter Equestrian Festival was quite a hit (as always) among spectators and competitors. Each year the participating riders go all out and dress up for a good cause. We partnered up with Kentucky Performance Products to showcase some of this year’s brilliant costumes. We won $25,000 for @dfspalmbeaches and the Postage Stamp Farm Foundation added $15,000 to that for a total of $40,000 to a fantastic cause!! The theme this year was #Broadway and our #Musical was #Barnum We brought out the big cats! The #WhiteTiger #Leopard and #Lion with the clown, trapeze artist & Motorcycle Act!! Great Charity Challenge by Fidelity Investments is more than amazing costumes and fierce competition. And although this makes for many pretty pictures, for me there is something almost mystical about documenting moments in time where a community comes together to bring love and hope to those in need. Whether it is a wheelchair, a hot meal, a bike for a boy in Belle Glade. A special medication not covered by insurance that helps a sick child make it to remission. Clothes, toys, counseling services, rescuing abused animals, saving lost souls.. the list is long for how many lives are impacted by this very special event. As an event photographer for the past 10 years, I get to see behind the scenes. I get to see the people who dedicate their lives to making a difference for others, I get to see the participants who take risks and devote their own resources to make it all happen. Of all the places and people I’ve had the privilege of photographing, this event moves me beyond what I have ever experienced. It has changed me. It is magical to see so much hope and love in our world. Thank you @annecarolineinc and @paigebellissimo for the honor of working with you. May the angels bless the weather and the people, the teams and the charities and those behind the scene people that make this day happen.
