Thursday Video: It’s Spooky Season!
And what better way to celebrate than with the Headless Horseman making his entrance at Mickey’s Boo To You Parade?
October has officially arrived, and with it comes all things spooky — pumpkins, crisp nights, and, of course, horses reminding us that yes, the wind really did move that leaf. But nothing quite kicks off spooky season like the appearance of the most famous mounted phantom of them all: the Headless Horseman.
At Walt Disney World’s Mickey’s Boo To You Parade, the season is ushered in with the eerie clip of hooves from a solitary coal-black horse carrying the cloaked rider. Jack-o’-lantern in hand, the Headless Horseman sets the tone for the evening and sends a delicious chill down the spines of everyone watching.
There’s just something about the blend of horse and legend that makes spooky season feel complete. Because let’s face it—Halloween without a horseman, even a headless one, just wouldn’t be the same. 🎃🐴
