Thursday Video: Officer Oliviery and Her NYPD Mustang

Meet Officer Oliviery and Gomez, the BLM Mustang turned police horse.

This awesome video recently was posted on Facebook on New York Live with Mickey. In it, Mickey meets Officer Jess Oliviery and her BLM Mustang, Gomez, who now is an NYPD mounted police horse. Gomez, who is only seven, was rounded up by the Bureau of Land Management, trained by inmates in Nevada and then sent to New York to be a mounted police horse. She’s now very spoiled and loves her job.

Officer Oliviery makes clear how much she loves working with the horse and also how much she enjoys her job as well.
