Kentucky Performance Products: ‘Oh Crap’ Monday
Monday is already the crappiest day of the week, so it only makes sense that we make things official. Here’s our latest “oh crap” moment.
So there you are, minding your own business, riding your round at the FEI European Championships (as one does), when protestors storm the arena.
Okay, we may be using the term “storm” rather loosely, but this is exactly what happened to Marc Houtzager during his round. Just like Monday, barging in to disrupt a perfectly good weekend, two protestors interloped on Houtzager’s ride. They chose to make their opinions known by running into the arena while Houtzager was riding the course. Talk about an “oh crap” moment.
Have no fear, Houtzager and his mount, Stoeterij Sterrehof Calimero, managed to ride a clean round. Way to go, Marc!
