Foal handlers don’t get paid nearly enough for the full-body demolition derby they endure every time a baby horse discovers its legs. While the dam is braided to perfection and the show participant looks like they just stepped out of a luxury equestrian ad, the handler is getting dragged, stepped on, and possibly snorted into oblivion. It’s glamour for everyone except the person holding the Tasmanian devil in hooved form.
