Gram of the Day from @kelseydoesthederby. ・・・ It’s not the world’s greatest picture, but after weeks out of the saddle, I got up early to go and ride this blind beauty! . Prince has been completely blind for many years and gets along marvelously. He takes full advantage of all his other senses and often “sees” things long before his sighted companions do. . This horse is extra special because he has been around since the very beginning of my time with horses, 23 years ago. He belongs to Sue, who taught my mom how to ride, and is pretty much entirely responsible for my mother’s equine addiction. It’s pretty wonderful to be able to go and ride the horse who was just a wild little colt at the start of it all! . . . #horselife #everydayequestrian #mongolia #goriding #enduranceriding #endurance #flx #fingerlakes #horsesofinstagram #horsegirl #riseandshine #riseandride #appaloosa #appaloosahorse #blind #blindhorse #equestrianadventuresses #wildhorses #prince #equineaddict
