Tuesday Video: Golden Tempo Enjoying His Victory Flowers
…A little too much!
After capturing the Belmont Stakes this past weekend, Golden Tempo decided it was finally time to enjoy the fruits of his labor… or in this case, the flowers!
A video surfaced of the champion helping himself to a little snack from the winner’s floral display, and honestly, who could blame him? After all the hard work, training, and talent it took to earn one of racing’s biggest victories, I’d say he’s more than entitled to sample the decorations. The flowers may have been meant for display, but Golden Tempo clearly had other plans. If you’re the Belmont winner, you’ve earned the right to stop and smell the roses… and maybe take a bite or two while you’re at it!
