‘Oh Crap’ Monday: Even Santa Has a Case of the Mondays…

Monday already is the crappiest day of the week, so it only makes sense that we make things official. Here’s our latest “oh crap” moment.

Nothing says “holiday spirit” quite like a crowd of kids, a festive tree lighting, a jolly man in a red suit… and one extremely unimpressed horse.

Saint Nick himself saddled up for what was supposed to be a magical holiday appearance. Instead? Well, let’s just say Comet and Cupid weren’t the only ones launching Santa skyward this season.

Picture this: Santa comes in, faces the crowd, and before he can give a hearty “HO, HO, HO,” his noble steed decides the red velvet suit is clearly a horse-eating predator. One startled hop becomes two, which becomes a full-blown festive explosion. In mere seconds, Santa goes from “Bring joy to the children” to “Become a cautionary tale.”

The crowd gasped.

And Santa?
Well, he achieved an involuntary North Pole–to–South Pole flight path and ended up with a hard landing

The good news: Santa seems to be okay, but he may be adding a bubble wrap and a back massager to his wishlist.

Moral of the story?
Even the Big Guy isn’t immune to the laws of equine chaos.
