‘Oh Crap’ Monday: Hang Time

Monday already is the crappiest day of the week…

so it only makes sense that we make things official. Here’s our latest “oh crap” moment.

In today’s installment of “Commitment Was Made”, TikTokker @aves__marie absolutely chose bravery. The jump was large. The distance was… optimistic. Physics showed up uninvited. What followed was a brief but impressive moment of hang time, a landing somewhere around the horse’s neck, and a graceful-yet-inevitable dismount that none of us would put in a highlight reel — but all of us recognize on a spiritual level.

The good news: everyone is fine. Horse pops up, rider dusts herself off, dignity is temporarily misplaced but not permanently damaged. And we’re applauding the effort. Because sometimes you do go for it, sometimes the jump says “not today,” and sometimes Monday reminds you exactly who’s in charge. We’ve all been there. If nothing else, this rider gave it a solid send. And that, friends, deserves both respect and a slow-motion replay.
