The 2025 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Lineup & Schedule
Today is the day! Let’s take a look at who’s competing at this year’s Wrangler National Finals Rodeo!
Today is the official start of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR), presented by Teton Ridge. The Wrangler NFR is widely regarded as the Super Bowl of rodeo, serving as the championship event of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. Each December, the top 15 money-winners from the regular season in each major discipline earn their spot in this 10-night showdown. Since 1985, the NFR has been held at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, drawing massive crowds and millions of viewers. Throughout the event, competitors battle for go-round wins and the coveted average titles in seven main events: bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, tie-down roping, team roping, steer wrestling, and barrel racing. Surrounding the performances, fans enjoy a full western celebration with Cowboy Christmas, autograph sessions, and numerous cultural events that make the NFR more than just a rodeo.
The 2025 WNFR will run from December 4–13, once again lighting up the Thomas & Mack Center. As always, the event opens with the back-number ceremony, where all qualifiers receive their official numbers. This year, Stetson Wright earned the prestigious No. 1 back number after leading the regular season and will compete in both saddle bronc riding and bull riding. Close behind him is Wacey Schalla with the No. 2 back number, continuing his rise as a standout in the roughstock events. Altogether, 118 athletes, returning champions, seasoned veterans, and first-time qualifiers, took the stage to launch the 2025 NFR, setting the tone for ten nights of fierce competition and high-stakes performances.
