Model Bella Hadid Competes in Cutting

Hadid competed in the $50,000 Limited Amateur event at the Bosque Ranch in Weatherford, Texas.

Hadid reportedly began riding as young as three years old, successfully competed in USHJA Equitation Over Fences classes in 2013 aboard her horse “Night Cap,” and once hoped to be an Olympic contender.

But reports began surfacing that the model/equestrian was spending more and more time in the Lone Star State when she was caught cuddling with an unnamed cowboy at the Fort Worth Stockyards last October.

That cowboy has since been revealed as Adan Banuelos, a cutting horse trainer and NCHA Riders Hall of Fame inductee, who posted the most recent Instagram video of Hadid riding Metallic Tito, a bay roan stallion by Metallic Cat and out of Sweet Abra. Metallic Tito is owned by Iron Heart Trust.

Hadid’s mother, Yolanda, commented, “So proud of my baby girl and her coach😜, awesome ride!”

The first day of the event, Hadid finished in eighth place with a score of 132.0, but a score of 143.5 the following day pulled her up to third. The full list of results was posted on Bosque Ranch Events LLC Facebook page.

The event was held at the Bosque Ranch, a sprawling 600-acre ranch located in Weatherford, Texas, owned by Taylor Sheridan, co-creator of Yellowstone.

Go riding.
