Reader Photo Challenge: Get Out There and Volunteer

Shows can’t run without volunteers!

As most readers know, horse shows can’t happen without a lot of people. That includes volunteers doing everything from scribing, bit checks, jump crew and jump judging to working the gates, handing out ribbons and making it all happen! This week, we’re using the photo challenge to show some love to all the volunteers — we couldn’t have shows without you!

“I have no photos of myself volunteering, but I always take my camera and shoot photos while juggling volunteer duties. Snapped this at the Indiana Eventing Association Horse Trials in 2017 while volunteering with the stadium jump crew.” Photo by Noelle Maxwell.

Keep an eye out for next week’s 24-hour photo challenge! We announce challenge subjects on Monday around the end of the day on both Instagram and Facebook.
