The world watched as the queen of the turf took her final turn around the track: with her characteristic burst of speed and incredible turn of foot, Winx circled the field and powered under the wire at Royal Randwick in the lead to the roar of the crowd who had come to see her farewell: her final race in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes let Winx go out on top.
