It’s really great when a horse loves his job, but sometimes an overeager mount can lead to a wild ride for his jockey! In today’s helmet cam video we see a skillful rider talking her excessively keen horse through a beginner novice cross-country course. I’m pretty sure at one point I can actually hear the horse say “beginner novice, shmeginnger shnovice,” but maybe that was all in my head. Either way, this boy seems to think he’s ready to take on Burghley, and who are we to tell him otherwise?
