#HeroStatus: Martin Fuchs aboard the wonderful Clooney nailed a win in front of the home crowd over the weekend in Basel, Switzerland!
What were you accomplishing at the age of 26? Few of us can say that we brought home a huge win in the Longines FEI World Cup… but Martin Fuchs can. Aboard Switzerland’s 2018 Horse of the Year, Clooney, Fuchs laid down a fast, perfect jump-off in front of the home crowd in Basel, winning a three-horse jump-off with only the barest time to spare.
It was the tenth anniversary of the Western European League’s being held in Basel, but the first in this particular facility — so what a great way to set the standard for the future with a home country win!

We’re surprised there was still a roof on the place after that last fence — the crowd clearly appreciated the efforts of this team, and Fuchs clearly appreciated the support!
Longines FEI World Cup action continues this week in Leipzig, Germany. Fuchs and Clooney are USA-bound, headed to Florida!
