What is there NOT to love about Laura Graves? The darling of US dressage has made headlines not only for her incredible partnership with her talented horse Verdades or “Diddy,” but also for raising him herself, doing his training herself, and doing all of his grooming herself.
And years of hard work and self-motivation are paying off: Graves has just become the new number-one ranked rider in the world in dressage, and is the first American to ever hold that distinction.
How does one celebrate such an achievement? Exactly as they should: sharing some bubble with your most important partner. In this case, that’s obviously Diddy.
