Best of JN: This Horse Means Business at WEG

No rider, no problem.

In a gut-wrenching turn of events Tuesday, former US rider Ashlee Bond (who now represents Israel) parted ways with her mount, Chela LS, while competing in the first round of showjumping at the World Equestrian Games. Thankfully, Ashlee got up with a smile and walked away to jump another day. Chela LS appeared to be unhindered by her rider’s sudden dismount and kicked on her autopilot mode to complete the next obstacle. What a horse!
