Thursday Video: Horsepower

Get some of your friends together and anything is possible.

I distinctly remember a passage from the Laura Ingalls Wilder book Farmer Boy written about her husband Almanzo Wilder’s childhood in upstate New York: Almanzo and his father are looking at a draft horse, and Father comments “Look at that muscle! He’d pull a barn if you hitched him to it.”

Those were the words that came to mind when I saw this video: ten Belgian draft horses moving this building. No one appears to be straining, just placidly walking down the road while a two-story building rolls along behind them.

Now that’s some serious horsepower!
