‘Oh Crap’ Monday, Killer Leaf Edition

This viral video is the ultimate “oh crap” moment.

Monday is already the crappiest day of the week, so it only makes sense that we make things official. We usually feature reader submissions for this weekly column, but we’re doing something a bit different today and sharing a viral video instead.

This young horse named “Hilton” was being ridden in an outing to give him a bit more experience at new venues before the launch of his show career, according to the rider’s Instagram, when a stray leaf in the dressage arena launched him in a totally different way.

Well sat to the rider! And we have to laugh at Hilton’s casual walk immediately upon landing, like “what are you talking about? I didn’t see anything. Everything is totally fine.”
