SpectraVET Performance: Caroline Passarelli, Pony Finals

Caroline Passarelli and So Enchanted swept the Small Green division at US Pony Finals last week — watch their winning round over fences!

Before we watch the flawless round, can we back up and get to know fourteen-year-old Caroline Passarelli: here’s a highlight video and interview with trainer Patricia Griffith and Passarelli herself. Fast-forward to around 1:30 to catch Passarelli’s comments so you too can marvel at this fourteen-year-old who is definitely way better spoken than myself, twice her age.

By all counts, Passarelli is an incredibly hard-working student and young horsewoman, so it’s great to see her so rewarded aboard a stunning little mover like So Enchanted or “Lex.” Let’s also back up here — I’m pretty sure the last time I rode a pony I got dumped on my face in about thirty seconds thanks to its adorable wee antics that seem so charming before it happens to you. This little mare is in a class all her own.
