Fantasy Farm Tuesday: Bull Fighting Equestrian Ranch in Spain

Or if I bought it, a Cow Petting Equestrian Ranch.

Sixty miles outside of Seville, Spain – one of the most beautiful and historic cities in the world – a whole new life is waiting to start for an ambitious equestrian in need of a facility with barns, paddocks, indoor and outdoor training space, a bull fighting ring, a bar, and a ballroom. Really.

The Property

Set on five hectares (which is apparently 12.36 acres) just outside of Morón de la Frontera in southern Spain, this all-inclusive facility is intended to host the most elaborate of fiestas, or the most routine training days, and everything in-between. As you can see in the photos below, the climate in southern Spain ranges from “briefly green in spring” to “super dry desert for 10.5 months”, but regardless, it’s incredibly picturesque territory.

The Horse / Bull Facilities

The barn, arenas, and amenities are all constructed in a desert-Spanish style with historic Moorish accents and a common theme of light tones and bright red accents. Even the indoor arena is carefully constructed to reflect the property’s design. (The photo below also shows the poles constructed for “dressage between the pillars” where horses are instructed in certain high school dressage moves, such as the piaffe or capriole.)

But obviously the major distinction between this property and others is the bull fighting ring. Chances are, if you’re reading this, you probably don’t want to use the bull fighting ring for bull fighting. May we suggest re-purposing for a really big round pen, a swimming pool, or a go-kart track?

Ballroom and Bar

Last but not least, the property has potential to make additional income as a banquet/reception facility with its elaborate ballroom, which also contains a full catering kitchen and bar area. (For those of you who ever wanted to get married in a barn, here is your big chance!)

The listing price for this one-of-a-kind facility isn’t available, but if you’d like more information, you can visit the current owner’s website.

Many thanks to El Caballo Andaluz for sharing their facility with us, and Go Riding.
