Fantasy Farm Tuesday: 50 Acre Thoroughbred Training Barn

I don’t exactly NEED 89 stalls and a horse exercise pool, but that doesn’t mean I don’t WANT 89 stalls and a horse exercise pool.

Have you ever woken up and thought, “You know, I’ve been thinking about getting into the thoroughbred racing business in South Florida, if only there were a turnkey, fully operational facility where I could put my hypothetical 80 or so horses.”? If you said yes, then this feature is just going to make your day. Welcome to Circle S Farms:

This 48-acre fully functioning thoroughbred racing facility is equipped with a 4-furlong racetrack, an equine exercise pool, ample turnout under lazy palm trees, a full veterinarian’s office with vet barn, and plenty of amenities for the humans, too.

The Property

Circle S has done a magnificent job maximizing its green space offer big safe turnouts for the horses in training. Many of the turnouts also include loafing sheds for inclement weather.

The Barns

Breezeways galore! The horses live in beautiful shed rows that have opted for a soft and safe footing in the breezeway, rather than something trendy and slick. The stalls are workmanlike and beautifully maintained.

The Track

The 4-furlong track is the ideal width and perimeter for young horses getting their first goes at a morning workout and learning to hug the rail. The track also has a starting gate and all the necessities for regular track grooming.

The Pool

As we mentioned earlier, the former owners have done their homework on the benefits of low-impact, high resistance pool work for horses building muscle or in rehab. There are numerous benefits, not to mention you might be tempted to take a dip yourself!
