“He is UTD on shots, teeth, coggins, shots, etc. We want him to go to a home where he can walk, trot and basically be spoiled. Former owners injected his right hock (he will crow up on a tight lunge canter to the right) to keep him sound to jump 4ft fences. We want him to be a spoiled walk, trot horse and a field potato and NOT be injected – he is SOUND without injections – we feel that under heavy work (jumping on a regular basis) he will become sore. He will crib without his Miracle Collar, so we will send it and the fuzzies with him. FREE to Angel Acres APPROVED home. Currently at Angel Acres please call or email for more information.”

“Very sweet gentle horse. She’s about 15 years old. A cross between Morgan and Tenn walker. 15.2 hands. Retired trails due to Her left hind leg occasionally locking up and it’s hard for her to back up when the leg gets stiff but she can still turn and eventually picks the leg up and can back up. She’s never fallen or has had any other injuries to my knowledge. She has good and bad days with that leg locking up. I’ve recently ridden her and she did fine. Usually in colder weather it may show up more…etc. Other than that she has an easy racking gait. She is safe for walking/slow trot in a round pin or arena. She has scheduled ferrier checks and trimming and has great feet. Up to date on vaccines, wormer, and Coggins. She’s an easy catch, stands great for ferrier, grooming, and bathing. Used to crossties. Loves treats! Needs to go to a forever approved home.”

“Spirit came to our rescue completely starved and so weak he could barely stand. He has gained weight quickly and now is close to his healthy weight. However we have noticed as he gained strength that he is lame in a rear leg. Ultrasound has shown he has a fracture of the head of his femur. He won’t be rideable and therefore just needs a home where he can be happy and loved. He needs a smaller pasture (2-3 acres ideally) where he has easy access to feed and water. He gets along well with other horses so would be a great companion horse. He loves to be petted and groomed and will come right up to you to be haltered. He would be great for a kid to love and give attention to as he is calm and gentle. He is on daily medication (pain medication and a joint supplement) to keep him comfortable. He is around 15 years old (estimate) and 13.3 hands.

Spirit is available for free lifetime lease, meaning you care for him as if he were yours, but you can’t sell or give him away – if you can no longer care for him, you would need to bring him back to our rescue. We will require that he stays on his medications so that he is as comfortable as possible.

Our horses have received their basic vaccinations (Rabies vaccine, EWT combo vaccine) at the time of adoption. They have been dewormed and have a negative Coggins test as well. All horses have received a hoof assessment and trimming.

We desire for our horses to find a good home where the horse will be a good fit with the person adoption him/her. With that goal in mind, we do our best to accurately represent everything, good and bad, with our horses.

CARE provides one week free boarding until you can pick up your new horse. For more information, please email us through our website . You can see our adoption applications and and more info about our rescue on our website, crossroadsanimalrescue.org”

“14 hh. Foal Date: 2000. Please open your home and heart to Diego! He is a sweet boy that was used in the past for a therapeutic riding program, so with a little tuning should be good for riding. This guy needs a home asap! Must be placed before winter! He is approx 15 yr, aprox 14hh, he is UTD and ready to go. He is currently in a temporary foster home. We are a small rescue and do not have any room for him here once the foster home time is up.”

Go Riding.
