It’s the moment hundreds of junior and young riders have been waiting for: the FEI North American Junior and Young Rider Championships. It’s a big week in Lexington, as this is equivalent to the Olympics for these young riders who represent the next generation of equestrian sport.

Riders will be competing in dressage, jumping, reining, eventing, endurance and para-dressage, so it’s basically a mini-WEG going down as we speak.

It’s a lot to keep track of, so luckily the organizers behind this massive event are going to be keeping track of scores for the jumping and eventing here and here (I haven’t tracked down a score sheet for the other disciplines yet).

You can also view more things such as schedules and right times by clicking here.

In the meantime, you can check out coverage of the eventing phases over on EN, and you can follow the NAJYRC Facebook page for more updates throughout the weekend.

Who will you be rooting for this weekend, and what discipline do you plan to follow the most? We can’t wait to see everything unfold! You can also check out action from the USEF Network on Saturday, July 18 right here.

Here’s some really neat highlights from the 2014 competition, courtesy of the USEF Network:
