For this week’s Absorbine 24-hour photo challenge, we wanted to see how your horses were staying cool in the hottest days of summer. As usual, you delivered: these are the thirteen chillest horses we know.
Jessie Zarudzki: “Smile Away cools off by taking swims. He sometimes even lets us join in!”
Amanda Uechi Ronan: “My horse Gumpert crawls in his water trough and spills all 100 gallons by splashing around. I’m pretty sure Californians weep for reasons they don’t totally understand when he goes through 200 to 300 gallons per day occasionally.”
Tina Marie: “My lesson horse Odie, loves the wash stall. Here he is after our lesson.”
KC Quinn Watson: “Rowdy and Sassy are staying cool in the water pool!”
