Horse life in 17 syllables.
Each morning we release a fresh new horsey haiku, or set of haikus, into the Internet ether. Today’s haikus come from reader Harley Cozewith, who cites her 3/4 draft horse, Chevy, as her muse.
Before and after pics of Chevy (you’ll understand when you read the haikus):
Late, need to tack fast
Covered in mud an inch thick,
Is that you in there?
Grey horse is a pig.
Sleeps warm each night in his poop
Blue shampoo stock climbs
I muck your foul stall
Clean for just one brief moment
Before nature calls
Awww, Chevy! Give your mom a break already. Grey horses will be grey horses, I suppose. Here he is all cleaned up and “in the zone” at the American Eventing Championships:
Thanks for sharing, Harley! One more for ya from all of us here at Horse Nation…
