Pricked pony ears and enthusiastic narration from a horse-crazy little girl… you’ve got to check it out.
Taylor captured our hearts when she announced, in true entrepreneur fashion, that she was raising money to buy her favorite pony, named Prince, by hosting truck washes, cleaning tack and selling horse treats (“Pony Puffs”) at the Event at Rebecca Farms. (Want to chip in? There’s a PayPal link to donate to Taylor’s cause, over on Eventing Nation here.)
Anyway, Taylor first caught our eye in January of last year, when she posted this helmet cam video of her schooling a pony named Maybelline around a course at Dragonfire Farm in Wilton, California. It is ADORBS — you’ve got to watch!
Squee! Can’t get enough? Check out this video of her jumping cross-country at Twin Rivers:
And her show-jumping round:
Here’s wishing Taylor the very best of luck in her future eventing adventures!
In addition to being a talented young rider and businesswoman, Taylor also seems to be a bit of a tack fashionista: We’ve spotted her pony in several different ear bonnets in a variety of colors at shows: red, blue, green… Hey, some girls have closets full of shoes — others have tack trucks full of ear bonnets! Which is why we think Taylor would love these Custom Mattes Couture Ear Bonnets by E.A. Mattes.
E.A. Mattes allows you to custom-design your own ear bonnet to match your farm colors, cross-country colors or just your mood! Choose from dozens of net, piping and binding colors to create a bonnet that is uniquely yours.
