This ad, sent us us by reader Lauren C., is totally normal but the photo choice is, uh, interesting. Much, much more where that came from in this week’s edition of “Best of Craigslist.”
Check out the ad here. Lauren also sent us this one with the note, “It literally looks like they took the saddle and threw it on the ground before taking a picture.” Yeah… the adjective “nice” might be a stretch.
nice – needs some top stitching
From Erin D.: “It looks like they sawed 6″ off her front legs. No wonder the poor thing ‘gets stiff in the shoulders.’ But don’t worry! They’ve bred it.”
Pattys Play is a very bred mare. She has been exposed to a spotted jack. His babies have all been very athletic and easy to train. Patty is broke to ride, but does get stiff in the shoulder if used hard. Would make a good riding horse for a small adult, but I will not sell her as sound. The colts I’ve has out of her are very athletic and quick. $1500 cash only. She is on allbreedpedigree, but her birth year is wrong as you can see on the papers. She is 17 years old.
Breanna K. writes, “This is from Facebook, but I thought the spelling was so bad that it deserved to be featured. I also love how they say to “comment for price” but don’t specify what they need done.”
Chelsea J. sent us this one:

From Courtney D.: “Thought I’d share this one with you… because what the world needs is one more homebred horse.”
I’d like to breed a mare. I’m interested in AQHA or APHA. Anything welcome, please send pictures. Prefer 15+ hands. Want foal to mature tall. Not looking to break the bank. If stud fee is high, would love to do contract with bi-weekly payments as im paid bi-weekly. Interested in breeding, not buying!
A few more random ones:
I am looking for a horse. I would like to have a gaited horse. (TWH, paso fino, rocky mtn, saddlebred, ect……) or a Arabian. Now for the kicker. I would like to have one for free or just around 100 or maybe 200 dollars. I have seen a lot of horses for this price just none that are gated. Also someone just gave away a 2year old TWH, the other day (I was just to late to find out about it). So anyway if you have one or know someone who does please email or call (call before 9 pm please).
Prefer a mare or gelding. 2 years and up. Might take a stud also. Must be broke to ride, doesn’t matter if green broke I can finish the training. Just email with what you have or call 4two3 four nine 4 six 33nine. (If no answer please leave message and I will get back to you).
THE HORSE WILL HAVE A GREAT HOME!!!!!!!
Yeah, this horse looks like he’s loving life.
Loves to be rode and saddled.
Breed: quater horse
