From the ad: “Butter is absolutely ugly as sin. He has a face only his mother could love.” Poor Butter.
Many thanks to Emily B. for the tip!
We have for sale a 15 year old unregistered Tennessee Walking Horse gelding. Butter is absolutely ugly as sin. He has a face only his mother could love. However, Butter is a broke cremello trail gelding that stands over 15 hands barefoot. This old horse has been there and done that and even knows a few tricks. Butter will even rear up on command! He has an excellent gait and a great temperament. Despite the fact that he is not very attractive, he is a great trail horse that is very gentle. If you want to be unique and not have a horse that looks like everyone else’s, but still maintain a good safe trail horse, Butter is your man. Just remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Butter, this one goes out to you from your friends at Horse Nation:
But wait, there’s more! From Tamara R., who writes, “This may not be Craigslist, but leave it to Florida to have the weird stuff. Example A: Uh, where’s the throat latch?”
And another — they say “broken”… hopefully they mean “broke”?
Mare and filly. The older horse is broken and the baby hasn’t been worked with. . .she is almost a year old. $325 rehoming for both.
This seller seems very well-meaning, but the photos crack me up. From Allison F.
5 year old green TB for sale
Has done some jumping, seems like a good dressage prospect! Up to date on all shots and feet ect. Barefoot
Has been on trails, but only with one other horse
Does best with consistent work, ridden regularly! Clean legs, never any injuries! Healthy! Gorgeous horse! Great for vet and farrier ect! I’ve had younger kids on him! Loves to work eager to please! Needs a strong experienced confident rider with soft hands! Has never bucked or reared, never kicked or bitten ect.
He’ll make someone an incredible horse with some work! Located in Mansfield ma
Was asking $3,200 he’s well worth it… Now asking $2000!!!! Needs a home soon, I don’t have the time for him and the longer he sits around the more work he will need! Come meet him 🙂 email for more pictures/ videos! He will be sold with all of his feed and his blanket, ect!
One more, if you can stomach it, from Susan H. who writes, “Scary, I mean ‘NICE’ horse trailer!” It looks kind like a toaster oven on wheels… and it probably feels like one as well — great ventilation!
