Sweet 15.0 hh solid Chestnut Appaloosa mare! She is an all-around fantastic horse with a kind disposition and super safe demeanor. She does not spook at ANYTHING and has been ridden through drive-thrus, past chicken farms, in traffic, and through water. She is great for the farrier and will jump right into a trailer. She clips, ties, and bathes perfectly. She’s is 18 years young and still has some go if you ask that of her. You can ride her in just a halter and lead rope, or bridleless, using only inside and outside leg cues. She is great with my two children who are ages 2 and 3 years old, and is very gentle when they’re on her back. She walks out alone or in a group. She has been ridden with hot endurance horses and is fine with being left behind to walk at a slow pace. She is an easy keeper and is kept barefoot. She is 100% sound. She is a go anywhere, do anything kind of horse.
I’ve had this mare for six months, but knew her for over 8 years prior. She was my confidence builder and now that I have my seat back, I would really love for her to go to a good home where she will be enjoyed and used for what she does best, which is taking care of another beginner rider!
