Did you know that bitter cold temps (go home already, arctic blasts!) can affect the effectiveness of some supplements? KPP offers some winter supplement storage tips.
From the KPP Tips & Topics Blog:
Extremely cold weather can rob your supplements of nutrients or alter their form enough to decrease effectiveness once thawed. Supplements that are in the form of a pellet or powder usually do fine in freezing temperatures, as long as they are kept dry in tightly sealed containers. Liquids and pastes need to be protected from freezing. Be sure to check your supplement’s label or the manufacturer’s website for specific storage instructions.
