Video: Mongol Derby on ABC ‘Nightline’

A recent episode documents the 2013 running of the world’s longest, toughest horse race.

In August, 35 riders from around the world embarked upon a 621-mile race across the Mongolian steppe, mounted on semi-wild horses. (Check out the preview story we ran here.) Nightline followed along as the competitors put their mental and physical limits to the test.
