12 Jumps You Can Paint at Home

Not everyone can afford fancy filler and standards that look straight out of Downton Abbey — but it doesn't cost much to spruce up jumps with an awesome paint job.

Looking to jazz up your jumps at home? Here are a few creative painting ideas that won't break the bank.

First, gather up a bunch of unpaid help–er, friends–and outdoor paint. Start off by painting your poles and standards in solid colors.

If you're artistically challenged, but still want to make some cool-looking jumps, you can twirl some fancy-patterned duct tape around the pole (after waiting for the paint to dry!).

But if you're feeling crafty, these designs will make your arena look sharp! Try using a small roller or a flat brush for crisp edges.
