Submitted by Jessica: “This is my OTTB National Tribute (Mo) being bugged by gnats. ‘Sorry mom, I can’t hear you due to all the buzzing in my ears!'”

Submitted by Kim: “This picture is of Macadoodle and Odie prior to heading out on the trails … very expressive duo!”

Submitted by Randi: “Here is a winter pic of my new horse and me getting to know each other and riding around our farm. Yes, he is still a bit muddy and totally hairy, but I NEEDED the ride.”

Submitted by Emily: “This picture is of my baby pony, Red, with his inquisitive fuzzy baby ears. He was 3.5 in this picture and is 4 now. He’s going to be in the jumper ring when we can go in straight lines, and I fully intend to put him in custom ear bonnets in barn colors when the time comes.”

Submitted by Maggie: “I don’t know how well someone who wasn’t there when the photo was taken can tell, but my poor horse had his ears vetrapped together. We were pretty bored at the horse show that day.”

Submitted by Megan: “Here’s a photo of my grey CWB mare, Juno, paying strict attention to her rider during a clinic.”

Submitted by Quinn: “Hacking through the trails near Fair Hill. My mare saw a horse before I did. I didn’t notice it in the picture until later!”

Submitted by Sophie: “’This is a ‘between the ears’ from several years ago at a horse camp I used to work at. I would ride Cheeky II bareback over the river every morning to round up the other horses — even if it was flooded like the day this photo was taken.”

Submitted by Kelly: “Zeus is either laughing or yelling at us after our ride! Warrior looks a little embarrassed!”

Submitted by Elaina: “These ears belong to Stix, my first event horse. This photo was taken this past February at his 29th birthday party.”

Submitted by Dawn: “Jumpin’ Jack Flash and Chubby Checkers have been trying to tell us other more official attire for equine ears exists! Who knew? =)”
