Catfight at Nashville’s Iroquois Steeplechase

Two girls in sundresses, one of whom appeared to NOT be wearing underwear, got into a knock-down, drag-out brawl that’s making its way around the internet this week.

Someone filmed the fight on their iPhone but since, as we mentioned, there were some exposed lady-bits involved, we offer this PG-13 play-by-play instead. (If you want the full experience, the video is on YouTube here.)

First, the girl in the white dress called the girl in the black dress a name, or something.

Untitled

The girl in white throws a punch, and the girl in the black, a former University of Tennessee cheerleader, shoves her to the ground.

Untitled

A  third girl wearing pink, a University of Georgia grad, valiantly enters the fray.

Untitled

A struggle ensues as the girl in pink and the guy in white attempt to pull the fighting girls apart from one another.

Untitled

Out of nowhere, Vanderbilt football player Joe Townsend, wearing a blazer and a backward visor, reaches down and picks up the girl in black with one hand, without even dropping the football he is carrying.

Untitled

The fight is over, but the girl in pink is still yelling and throwing punches.

Untitled

A police officer shows up and escorts the girl in pink to her limo (again, I swear I am not making this up).

Since SEC sports blog outkickthecoverage.com published the video on Tuesday of this week, more iPhone videos have surfaced shedding new light on the event, including how it got started and more fighting from a different angle.

And the fact that onlookers were chanting “USA! USA!” during the fight:

And the girl in pink was even crazier than we originally suspected:

Gotta love the south.

Stay classy, Horse Nation.
