Thursday Morning Feed from Fleeceworks

Fleeceworks has a new young horse–a beautiful gray mare–and they need your help naming her!

Here are the stats: She is a 4-year-old Holsteiner mare by Riverman X Marisol, born and raised in California. According to her Team Fleeceworks rider, Tamie Smith, she is sweet, very friendly on the ground, and she loves kisses. She’s “pretty spicy” to ride–she loves to jump and gallop but isn’t sure about flatworks… seems boring.

The mare came into Tamie’s barn about four weeks ago, and her working students came up with a great barn name–Rory. The next step is to come up with her official name. It must start with a B based on her year of birth.

Fleeceworks and Tamie are asking for suggestions to help with Rory’s official naming. Anyone who would like to help can post their suggestions on the Fleeceworks Facebook page over the next  two weeks. Tamie and Fleeceworks founder Judith McSwain will look over all the suggestions and select the one that fits best.

All suggestions must start with the letter B. The Fleeceworks fan who  submits the name that is chosen will receive a photo of Rory, Fleeceworks hat and baby pad. In order for the name the be considered you must be a fan of the Fleeceworks page.

We can’t wait to keep up with Rory’s progress as she advances in her training! You’ve got some big shoes to fill, girl.
