News: ‘Fla. man changes plea, gets time served for riding horse while drunk during police chase’

That’s the headline of an AP story released yesterday following up on that idiot who used his horse as a getaway car in September.

29-year-old Charles Larkin Cowart led police on a half-hour chase through the town of Bunnell, north of Orlando.

Nice mugshot, Charles.

Says The Daytona Beach News-Journal, “Cowart told police he was riding to his grandmother’s house in Flagler Beach and refused to dismount, according to a charging affidavit. Instead, Cowart reared the horse ‘in an aggressive manner’ and galloped south on South Pine Street, the affidavit said.”

On Tuesday he pleaded no contest  to obstructing an officer without violence and interfering with railroad tracks.
