LOCATION: Kirtland, Ohio

DESCRIPTION: Eddie is a lovely horse with a fantastic uphill build. He’s going to wow in the dressage ring  (he practically floats!). Eddie has everything you are looking for in a sport horse pedigree–Holy Bull on top, Irish Tower on the dam side.  He’s very intelligent and a quick study.  Eddie is suitable for a flatwork only career.

Eddie has been in a regular working program with a novice dressage rider and professional trainer. He has lovely gaits and a super sweet personality. He has a great mind, is forward moving and needs a rider who enjoys the TB athleticism!

STATS: 5-yo 16.1h bay gelding

CANTER ID#: T12-3232-06

LOCATION: New England

DESCRIPTION: Check out this big handsome guy! “Salty” has only raced two times in his entire career and, after not showing much promise, his trainer would rather not bring him back to racing. Trainer reports that her daughter has ridden him on the farm and he already has good experience in turnout with other horses. He has no vices and is a beautiful mover with a long, ground covering stride and a pedigree with substantial European influence. Trainer calls him a big “goofball” and it’s clear that Salt In My Wound would make anyone not only a great riding horse but a wonderful pet as well.

PRICE: $1,000 neg.

STATS: 5-y/o 14.3 3/4 hand TB mare

LOCATION: Lisbon, OH

DESCRIPTION: Suk (pronounced “Sook”) is a whole bunch of awesome in a little package! She is begging to be someone’s super event horse!

“Peanut” trains on the farm and is used to being galloped over the hills and fields on the property. She is forward and bold. She has been in the same barn for her entire racing career. Sounds on clean legs with no vices, Peanut wants to be your next show horse! She rides like a big horse and actually thinks she measures at 17 hands… (shhh–don’t tell her that she is short!). Peanut has also spent a lot of time on full turn out with mares and geldings. Lovely mare, a barn favorite.

CANTER ID#: T12-3315-09

LOCATION: New England

DESCRIPTION: If you are looking for a big, athletic, and flashy gelding with lots of chrome then look no further than Bold Dream! This durable gelding has been a fixture at Suffolk Downs for most of his racing career and has won almost $20K in purse money during that time. His trainer has noticed that Bold Dream is starting to be less competitive at the track and rather than push him he wants to retire him now so he can find another career that he relishes. Bold Dream is clearly feeling good and in great condition; he is well muscled and has no soundness issues and has an athletic build—we can easily see him galloping a cross country horse or tackling a jumper course. He backs up that athleticism with a lovely trot that is sure to turn heads. Trainer notes that he is gentle to work with and often lets his daughter take care of him. Bold Dream certainly holds a place in his trainer’s heart, and we’re sure that he’ll be the star for the lucky person who takes him home.

PRICE: $1,000 neg.
