Tuesday Morning Feed from Dubarry

Good morning Horse Nation! So Father’s Day is coming up, a holiday that strikes fear in my heart.

Don’t get me wrong–I love my dad to pieces. There’s no way I can adequately thank him for all the sacrifices he made to support the riding habits of my sisters and I growing up. All the times he drove us to horse shows, sat ringside feigning interest while we rode our dressage tests, and chased us around cross-country courses with the camcorder–and years later, I’ll never forget the way he just nodded and offered a few select words of caution the day I told him I was quitting my respectable real job as the editor-in-chief of a newspaper to do the horse thing full-time. That must have taken some serious biting of the tongue.

Thus, the reason why I have trouble with Father’s Day is: How do can I repay him for that? How can I express, in a gift, all that my dad means to me? And every time, before every birthday and holiday, I ask him what he wants, he just shrugs and says he already has everything he needs.

The good news is, there are some fun gift options out there for dads, including Dubarry’s men’s collection. From outerwear to sporty shirts, boat shoes to hats, there’s something at Dubarry for the special dad in your life

Check out www.dubarry.us for gift ideas, and be sure to order soon to ensure delivery by Father’s Day (this Sunday, June 17).

Go Dads, and Go Riding.
