Friday Morning Feed by Ovation

Congrats, Horse Nation, you made it to another Friday! To help get you through the homestretch, we’ve got plenty of ridiculousness coming your way.

Like…

Another installation of Amanda Ronan’s “Friday Flicks” movie review. This week she’s reviewing The Silver Brumby, a movie that I’ve never heard of but am definitely intrigued. I asked Amanda last  week where she comes up with the movies she reviews, to which she responded, “Netflix—the source of all movies strange and obscure.”

A slightly belated edition of “A Better Alternative” by our alternative therapies guru Liz Barnard. Today, she delves into a fascinating modality called CranialSacral Therapy.

No Horse Nation Friday is complete without “Oh $h!t: Your most humiliating moments, captured on film,” in which we celebrate the art of falling off and getting back up again. It’s kind of like the grand finale at the end of a fireworks show–definitely a crowd favorite.

AND!

We’ll be making a special announcement about a contest we’re co-hosting with our wonderful sponsor, Ovation. I can’t tell you exactly what is at stake–you’ll just have to wait for the big reveal this afternoon–but I can assure you that it’s pretty amazing.

Much, much more where that came from, so be sure to stay tuned!

Go Riding.

In the market for a great summer show shirt? Check out the Ovation Ladies Dri-Lex Short Sleeve Ratcatcher. The shirt is made from a comfortable Dri-Lex Fantasia fabric that keeps you cool and comfortable even as temperatures soar. Nothing pulls sweat away from your body like Dri-Lex. Other wicking yarns only do have the job–they may repel moisture, but where does it go? Usually it hangs on your body. Dri-Lex is different, as the moisture is transported to the surface of the garment to evaporate quickly.
