Friday Morning Feed from Ovation

Here at Horse Nation, we have huge respect for companies that give back to the equestrian community. That’s just one more reason why we’re a big fan of our newest team member Ovation.

In addition to standing out as one of the premier brands in the equestrian industry, offering everything from head to toe for horse and rider, Ovation goes out of its way to help out worthy organizations.

Ovation recently signed on to support and sponsor three organizations. Ovation is now the Official Helmet of the NEDA (New England Dressage Association), the Official Helmet of IDA (Intercollegiate Dressage Association) and the 2012 IDA National Championships and a proud sponsor of  Dressage4Kids, Youth Dressage Festival.

“One of the goals Ovation has set for 2012 is to get our helmets out there more, especially in the Dressage markets,” the company explained in a press release.

Here’s what Ovation had to say about the three organizations and why they chose to sponsor them:

NEDA

The NEDA is the largest single chapter of American Dressage Organization, and Ovation Helmets says it is delighted to be aligned with an association that takes such pride in offering top quality educational, competitive and community opportunities.

“With the changing helmet rules touching every area of equestrian sport, we felt it was very important to have a partner in the dressage community, one that was dedicated to its membership as we are dedicated to our quest for the best in protective headgear. NEDA fits that bill perfectly, and we are looking forward to working with them immensely,” states Amy Pembleton, Marketing Director at Ovation’s parent company, English Riding Supply.

IDA & the 2012 IDA National Championships

The IDA’s mission is to introduce collegiate students to dressage, and foster the continued development, understanding and appreciation of its art through student competitions and education. Their National Championships will be held April 28th – 29th 2012 at Centenary College in New Jersey.

“Ovation takes great pleasure in knowing that we are working with the IDA to encourage young adults in the art and beauty of Dressage,” states Pembleton. “And by further sponsoring Nationals, a very important goal for these students, with our protective headgear, we are not only educating them about the technicality of their rides, but the importance of safety while mounted.”

Dressage4Kids

By joining forces Ovation Helmets and Dressage4Kids will further educate today’s riding youth to exercise safety, caution and good judgment around equines.

“Dressage4Kids’ mission is to encourage young riders to become true horsemen, and Ovation takes great pleasure in knowing that we are working with this prestigious group to encourage young adults in the art and beauty of Dressage,” explains Pembleton. “D4K has always adopted the absolute highest standards of safety and education, and we are truly pleased to be included.”
