Horse Nation contributor Laura Cox brings us this video from Monmouth Park, where it’s a race to the wire between two horses coincidentally named My Wife Knows Everything and The Wife Doesn’t Know.

In August 2010, videos from Monmouth Park’s 7th race went viral. Why? Because the one-two horses were My Wife Knows Everything and The Wife Doesn’t Know. Larry Collmus was announcing the 7th race, and according to an interview with Inside Edition, Mr. Collmus’ main concern? Not to mess up the names. Congratulations, Larry Collmus, you held it together and made what was possibly that once-in-a-lifetime call and you played your part brilliantly.

On a side note, Inside Edition also reported that it was purely coincidence that the fillies were entered in the same race and that there is no connection between the two. You can read the full report here.
