Lighthoof Tuesday Video: How to Memorize Your Test

Let’s be real: Sabrina is all of us.

How do YOU remember your test, pattern or course? There are few of us who actually have that photographic memory where we’ll be able to recite every step just as it’s written. Most of us come up with our own devices to remember intricate tests, patterns and courses that might make other equestrians giggle in its complexity, simplicity or just plain wackiness.

And then there’s Sabrina.

Ok, this is what happens when Sabrina prepares for her Dressage test! Omg Iā€™m dying!! šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

“I’m gonna walk. But I’m not gonna let the head go.”

“No, I’m relaxing.”

“We’re gonna try to hit that corner letter down there, because we always miss it.”

“Check him… two letters before the end.”

“I’m dead by now. Gotta make him look pretty.”

“And THAT’S how you do a dressage test.”

Hey, whatever works for you! If this is what it takes to remember all those steps… then you’re good to go.

How do you remember your tests and patterns, Horse Nation? Let us know in the comments section!
