Finding a new horse show can be a surprisingly difficult process in certain disciplines. Wouldn’t it be convenient if there was one database you could search to find shows near you, especially with open options or those that are specifically novice-rider-friendly?

Turns out, there IS such a database: Horse Show Hub launched its new website in mid-February, offering an improved visitor experience with an easy-to-use search engine. Users can select from a number of search criteria, such as breed or discipline association, open or membership status, location and date, as well as input search terms such as “added money” or “green horse.” Users can also browse the map to find shows within their region. Each show has a Horse Show Hub home page with all the details.

“We believe that this new site will allow our visitors eliminate hours of time searching through other sites, as well as introduce them to new shows they might not have known about before visiting the site,” described Allison Bowen of Horse Show Hub.

The database is totally free to search and browse for equestrians. Show management can create an account to list their shows, with the options of free or paid packages for different levels of advertisement. Silver and Gold paid packages include features on the Horse Show Hub homepage as well as social media.

Horse Show Hub currently lists shows in the following categories: American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA), American Paint Horse Association (APHA), National Snaffle Bit Association (NSBA), National Reining Horse Association (NRHA), National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA), Stock Horse, Ranch Horse, Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC), Pinto Horse Association of America (PtHA), and open shows. As word continues to spread, more breed and discipline associations are hoped to join and share their shows as well.
