World Equestrian Brands Helmet Cam

Warning: if you don’t like heights, you might want to skip this one.

Riding along the massive and awe-inspiring Grand Canyon might be enough for some people… for others, the need to get down into and across the canyon drives their ride. Take a trip across the mighty Colorado River that flows through the Grand Canyon… first, travel through the tunnel and then pick your way carefully across the bridge on a sure-footed steed.

The video’s original description:

“We rode from south rim (just Sera, our retired “A” show horse/trail horse Arabian mare and I), enjoyed hanging out on the banks (Phantom Ranch), and then went back up to South Rim.

We did this ride again in 2017 (with one less eye), however we didn’t get the chance to cross the bridge because Reggie and his shoe parted ways, and the rocks on the last section are particularly abrasive… so we just stayed on the south side of the river.

This is an amazing ride to be able to do, and we love Grand Canyon National Park.”

Colorado River, Grand Canyon National Park.I wanted to share this again, as we have so many new followers. This is one of our favorite videos, moments, and trails. We rode from south rim (just Sera, our retired "A" show horse/trail horse Arabian mare and I), enjoyed hanging out on the banks (Phantom Ranch), and then went back up to South Rim. We did this ride again in 2017 (with one less eye), however we didn't get the chance to cross the bridge because Reggie and his shoe parted ways, and the rocks on the last section are particularly abrasive… so we just stayed on the south side of the river. This is an amazing ride to be able to do, and we love Grand Canyon National Park. Want to ride here? Check out the notes section for a how to. Not into cliffs and bridges? No problem! There is riding on the rim, and away from the rim via the Arizona Trail.
