2017 Devon Horse Show Need-to-Know Guide

There are plenty of top-tier horse shows to attend this season all over the country, but the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair is perhaps one of the most unique. It’s the oldest and largest multi-breed and multi-discipline outdoor show in the country, and has graced the Main Line area of the Philadelphia suburbs since 1896.

At this single event, spectators can enjoy multiple breeds such as Saddlebreds and Friesians, plenty of pony hunters and jumpers, carriage driving and both local and international talent in the hunters and jumpers. The old-fashioned country fair with unique vendors offers plenty of entertainment in addition to the two outdoor rings, including the famous blue Dixon Oval.
